Quebec’s War on English: Language Politics Intensify in Canadian Province | TIME.com.

I could probably write a book on my thoughts and feelings over this french/English language ‘war’ in this province of Quebec. The fact it’s labeled a ‘war’ falls squarely on the shoulders of this #pq government… A government that sadly was put back into power by those who wanted change. Now look at the mess that this change has brought on.. I want to say that clowns were voted into power but that would be an insult to clowns. The reality is that this government is a joke. The french language is not even close to being threatened by the English… It’s just nonsense propaganda put out there as a scare tactic by ignorant people. The whole ‘pastagate’ fiasco is enough proof that these folks are 6 beers short of a 6 pack. I am embarrassed for them. I truly am. Anyway I will leave it at that. I just hope that come the next election, those folks that wanted change realize their mistake and vote with more sensibility and intelligence… Hopefully it won’t be too little too late. Hopefully the damage will not be irreversible.
