ego
My aversion to #shady behavior
i spent many, many years volunteering at a local soccer club. In the early days it was as a volunteer coach. At one point during this time i was asked if i was interested in taking over the IT/web responsibilities.. i thought, why not?
i continued on in this role even after my now adult children decided to move on from the sport. The web responsibilities also included social media. A few years back it was decided to hand over the social media responsibilities to someone else. i thought i was doing a good job and it did irk me that i was not even given an opportunity to have a say in it. Or an opportunity to show that i can up my game!! I continued on with everything else that was in my “job” description. There are alot of platforms out there that make putting together a website easy peasy… i enjoyed revamping the site over the years, and year by year it became nicer and nicer. Of course, alot has to do with the aforementioned platforms that make life easier for everyone.
Unbeknownst to me, and i don’t know how long ago this was set in motion, in october i got wind that the same character, let’s refer to him as Mr. Ego, that relieved me of my social media responsibility got the ball rolling to move the website responsibility to someone else and also to another platform. The planned unveiling to be November 1st. How did i get wind of this? There has been one person at this club that has always had my back. For that i will always adore her and will always consider her a friend. Anyway if it sounds like i am a little salty about this, i am. The explanation i got, albeit not from the horse’s mouth was weak at best. The fact there was no attempt at any type of heads up, conversation and whatnot says a lot about this person. My feeling is that if i had been given an opportunity to have my say, i would have countered any and all “arguments” he has regarding a need for a change… be it person and also platform. I cannot fault a person that has a vision and planned execution of said vision but there is certainly a way to doing things. This was clearly self-serving.
Interestingly enough when the time came to transfer the domain to the new platform i received a text
Not sure if xyz told you but we are changing to a new website. Need your help to switch the domain over to our new server
Sure, i heard about it on the dark web because you couldn’t be bothered to have some class. Seriously.

Stay Classy
Imagine the audacity??!! Even in today’s world of whipping up websites in a matter of hours, it’s clear from the little tease that was put out on social media that this was in the works for some time. Clearly they scraped all the information needed from the current site and then blindsided me… and now you want help?! Sure, sign me up. NOT.
i provided the information he needed to make the transfer and told him my time is valuable now so … time is money… and i don’t come cheap.
Anyway, i un-followed the club and this guy and his all too familiar looking side hustle website on all the socials. I don’t have time and cannot tolerate shady characters. Nor do i want to be associated with them.
good riddance!
karma is a bitch and eventually it will catch up to you but sadly this world is becoming a shit show and it is the corrupt, shady, cold, egocentric that seem to advance and get what they want.
peace.
Siuuuu….
My ‘Joe Dirt’ thoughts on Holly v Ronda
Ok, so I really have no business critiquing #MMA… I don’t watch the sport because I find it violent and I can’t deal with violence. However, I can still have somewhat of an opinion. There’s no doubt that Ronda has paid her dues and is deserving of all her success in the sport. She’s one hell of an athlete.. but it’s clear that the bloated head was starting to rear it’s ugly head and probably ended up weighing her down during the fight on saturday. Ya, that must be it. Lol… Anyway, I think the best thing for Ronda and the sport is what happened on saturday. Holly won. So proud of Holly and I don’t even know her. Lol. So happy for the so called ‘underdog’.
As I mentioned earlier I am anti violence but i’m glad Ronda got her ass whooped. Holly was bad ass impressive. A good lesson in humility. So you’re a great athlete.. show some humility. Nope. Not Ronda. So what’s the cure for this? A good old fashion ass whooping.. I mean did u see how Holly tossed Ronda like a salad? It was unreal. Anyway this was a great way to get Ronda off her high horse and back to reality.
All hail the new champ, Holly!! Who btw is hawt and I’d have no issue at all if she assaulted me and wrapped her long luscious legs around my neck. None whatsoever.

This ‘Don’t Judge Me Challenge’
I know that I am definitely late to this party. Just recently my daughter showed me this #dontjudgechallenge #dontjudgemechallenge account on #instagram. The reason being that there were familiar faces that took ‘the challenge ‘. I seriously don’t get it. What’s the purpose? What is a person taking this challenge really trying to say? Don’t judge someone just on their looks? Is that it? So u start off by making yourself ‘ugly’ and then bammmm you’re gorgeous!! Maybe it’s just me but I think the message is pretty clear. Pretty. Clear.
It’s nonsense. Teaching kids wrong values.

One word comes to mind… selfish..wow, what an ego the father has.. it’s incredibly ridiculous.. seriously.. all 15 children have a variation of his name. As a father who likes his name, it never once crossed my mind to name my son, David as it is important that he has his own identity, not only as a person but with his name as well.
