Sunday morning coffee with a little musing: Duke of Hazzardous Thinking?
For a guy that doesn’t live or breathe politics I sure am posting about it a lot lately! This will be my last one on it (for a while anyway). Need to shift gears to other lighter subjects.
Some time last year John Schneider popped up on my YouTube feed. The caption got me intrigued so I watched the video. Had to do with the Confederate flag on the dukes of hazzard car. I definitely picked up a certain vibe from the video. And as is the case with YouTube.. Watch one video and boom.. I got more of his videos popping up.. So I watched a few more. John, always the charmer, waxing poetic way too much though. It was hard to tell which way he leaned. Then his videos stopped popping up until a couple days ago. I watched the video. Boy is it clear which way he leans.

I don’t consider myself a political person. That is, I follow politics but don’t. Right or wrong, I don’t live or die by it. Having said that, it has been hard not to get riled up though these past four years with what went down with our neighbors to the south. The aftermath of the 2020 election has also reared its ugly head and continues to. Add to that covid and it has been a dumpster fire full of tin foil hats and conspiracy theories!
Enter Gina. I had been following her on social media for years. As the election was approaching she was putting out tweets that had me wondering. After this year’s election she tweeted this out:
We need to clean up the election process so we are not left feeling the way we do today. Put laws in place that protect us against voter fraud. Investigate every state.
God dammit. Say it ain’t so.
Does she have a right to speak her mind? Of course. Does she have a right to be a Republican? Of course.
Just because she is a Republican does it mean she is a trump supporter? Considering her tweet u have to lean towards a yes.
I have watched many a video on Gina and she comes across as such a great person. I’d want her to be my bff… I wouldn’t mind at all being MMA’d by her. Here’s why I am conflicted.
She says there needs to be open dialogue and questions asked but yet she will only give her time to like minded people. Is Parler really a platform for open minded people? So her version of open dialogue is with like minded people so she can feel better about herself? Where is the progress in that?
She says that she doesn’t accept any form of bullying. So is that the bullying directed at her or in general? You cannot support one of the biggest bully of them all and make such a statement.
She says she will not be muted but is she really not trying to mute others with some of her tweets and low-key shady memes she puts out on social media?
She puts out posts like this yet doesn’t back it up with anything.
Ok Gina, do tell us what’s really going on.
Here is another one of many…so who is this man? U speaking generally? Is it about ur dad? A friend? Who, who is this honest man? Enough with this. Own up. What are you afraid of?
She claims voter fraud and yet backs it up with nothing. When Trump was elected I wonder what kind of tweets she was putting out? Any fraud then? Obviously that election was on the up and up. Just like the Dems, the Republicans now have four years to prove fraud as well.
She talks about truths but nowadays what is that? This whole ‘you speak your truth’ is nonsense. What does that mean? I guess I am dating myself and really old school about this. I grew up knowing ‘truth’ and ‘lies’.. A truth is a fact. Nowadays something could be a blatant lie but if you see it as truth welllllll then that’s your truth and that’s ok.
She made a comment in an interview that she gets messages from ppl who live in oppressed parts of the world wondering what is happening to the USA? What? The world has been dealing with covid for about a year and we have been asked to conform to something in an effort to get this beast under control. Well you know what? For her that’s not it. It’s just the govt trying to control us. I don’t think she even knows the true feeling of being oppressed. Noone born in this part of the world knows what oppression is. That’s the luxury we have living where we do but because we’re being pushed to do something for the greater good we’re being oppressed, controlled, our freedoms are being infringed upon… blah blah blah. It’s been a year out of our life. Obviously and sadly, it has impacted some more than others but imagine living this for decades or centuries…and of course, the deaths related to covid have been overly exaggerated! Of course.
Also how amazing was it that as soon as Biden won the election poofff… a vaccine for covid is ready to go? Amazing eh? When I saw the articles pop up I could not help but slam the palm of my hand into my forehead with incredible force because I knew what was coming. So it’s ‘true’ then.. Covid was spread world wide in an effort to get Trump out of office. It’s plausible. Isn’t it? But then u have trump tweeting he knew the vaccine was coming and his tin foil hat wearing JR buying into how interesting the timing was. I mean the timing was rotten and so it ends up invalidating the fact that all these companies were working on a vaccine all this time. And let’s face it, it was these very same companies that put out this virus in the first place with patient zero, right? Oh so many conspiracies!!!
Crazy to think how much nonsense came to the forefront during this man’s tenure as president. I am not saying it wasn’t there before but he sure as hell gave them a platform to come on out of their dark place…
Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of many nut jobs and there are many … yet there was refusal to remove her from her position..instead the plan was to have a talk with her. Ana Navarro a republican said it well.. “A talking to? A talking to is what i have with my dog when she pees where she shouldn’t pee. Marjorie needs to be removed”
In the end some good happened and after Marjorie’s clearly non apology, apology.. Her true colors once again came to light via her Twitter.

Have a look at the Twitter feeds of some has beens and never beens like Scott, Antonio, James, Kevin, Kirstie and Isaiah my oh my. The entertainment value alone. Pure gold.

In 2016 trump’s win was legit and on the up and up. Obviously. In 2016 this very person was obviously TELLING the other side to ACCEPT the results. So yes, now it’s time for ya’ll to ACCEPT the result as well. The Republican party has the same right to use the next four years to prove fraud ..

Then there’s this fucking gem…where to even begin. I have no desire to and I am no sleuth but I am sure after the 2016 election she was busy tweeting other stuff.
The only thing that can be said for Gina is that unlike the other cohorts who spew nothing but vitriol and hate… she tries to spread peace & love but at the same time though putting out low key shades with memes. Now I know a lot of people want her fired from the mandalorian… again cancel culture at its finest. It’s pretty clear where I stand when it comes to Trump but I am also not blind to the fact that there are bad apples in every batch.
My memory sucks, which of course sucks but if I recall correctly back in 2016 even with the shock and awe of the result there was a clean, respectful transition of power. 2020 has been a bit of a shitshow already and so it comes as no surprise that Trump, as any bully would do, is not going quietly, dragging his feet and cannot accept defeat. There’s no doubt a lot has to do with the criminal he is and what’s waiting for him once he can’t hide behind the presidency. I would love to be a fly on the wall right now at the white house. There must be one hell of a show going on closed doors. A lot of tracks have to be covered. 😆
Anyway… orange seems to be his color of choice if you know what I mean and if there is any justice soon he and his family can take a family portrait with matching outfits.

I grew up watching so many great tv shows… Three’s Company, Laverne and Shirley and Happy Days to name a few. I loved Chachi on Happy Days. He was not as cool as Fonzie but cool enough 😋…and funny! Scott Baio, unfortunately, like Dean Cain is no hero. Disappointing.
I try to be open minded. I really do. But sometimes it’s just too hard. I decided to watch one of Scott ‘Chachi’ Baio’s YouTube videos. While preaching about all the bad things the other side does from divisiveness, vitriol, name calling etc.. He goes on to name call and mock a man who doesn’t share his views. The high road, am I right? Makes perfect sense though. Just look at who their leader in chief is. A bully personified. The king of vitriol, name calling and mocking. A horrible human being. A racist and bully.

Get a load of the comment left on this post. So ignorant. Where in this photo do you see a ‘real man’? There is a big difference between a bully and a real man. What you have here is a bully.
A bully is a bully because they are allowed to be. To stop them in their tracks you need to stand up to them and fight back. Once that happens their MO is always the same. As soon as they feel that they are losing the edge, advantage, the upper hand…like children they pout and stomp their way out of the situation. I have come across plenty a bully. It’s always the same.
